Final project meeting


On September 23rd, it took place the final meeting of WatERP project. It was held at Eurecat’s premises in Barcelona. During this meeting, partners reviewed the work performed during the three years of the project in order to prepare the Final Periodic Report. This report will be sent to the Commission in order to evaluate the project implementation during its lifetime.

The final review meeting which will assess the project will take place in Brussels on December 14th, 2015 and it will imply the official closure of WatERP. 

WatERP Consortium Meeting


Last 12th-13th of May, it took place in Athens a new Consortium meeting of WatERP project. During this meeting, the work performed so far has been assessed together with the recommendations and comments extracted from the Commission's report after the second review meeting in Brussels last March.

It was a great opportunity for the consortium to meet and discuss the actions to be taken during the last period of the project in order to meet the Commission requirements and assure the achievement of WatERP's objectives.

WatERP Consortium Meeting in Dresden


On October 29th-30th, WatERP partners held a very fruitful meeting in Dresden, Germany.  Preparing for the last year of the project, partners have coordinated project's developments and the initial prototypes of project tools were discussed.

Staffordshire University held the last consortium meeting of WatERP Project. The meeting, that took place on the 8th and 9th of April, represented a new opportunity to assess the development of the different tasks of the project and analyzed the following steps. The project has already been working for one year and a half so far and the good progress has been confirmed after the review meeting in Brussels last February.

Pre-review WatERP meeting


Last Monday, 3rd February, WatERP consortium met in Brussels in order to prepare the review of the first year of the project with the Commission. The meeting took place at the offices of ACCIÓ, agency belonging to the Government of Catalonia specialized in the promotion of business innovation and internationalization.

During the meeting, the issues arisen at the evaluation of the experts were analyzed together with all the partners. Minor questions were solved before the review with the officer and the experts.

New update of WatERP website


Taking advantage of the results obtained after the first year of WatERP project, the image and contents of our webpage have been actualized.

One year working together!


The WatERP first year consortium meeting took place in Athens during  23th-24th of October, 2013. All partners coordinate their developments to continue advancing in an interoperable solution to improve water management operations throughout the entire water supply distribution chain. Advances in the knowledge representation, data management, demand forecasting, decision support, management platform, standards application and pilots deployments were presented and discussed in a very fruitful way.

WP3 Workshop


During two days (17th-18th of July)the partners of WatERP project met in order to carry out a workshop on work package 3 of the project (Data management). During the meeting, topics such as standards compliance, ontology understanding, data and metadata required to build the warehouse, the possibilities for geospatial reasoning and the first approach to the practical implementations where discussed.

Partners meeting


DVGW-TZW, INCLAM and BDigital met on 8th-9th July, 2013 in order to exchange knowledge about the optimization of pumping schedule and management as this is a prior concern and benefit for SWKA as regards the WatERP project.

WatERP Technical Meeting


A technical meeting took place on 27th-31st of May, 2013 in the framework of the WatERP project. During this meeting, the partners of the project worked on the water systems of the pilot sites, analyzing the data availability and the existing models. Long- and short-term methods and models for demand forecasting were presented and how these could be applied on the pilot sites.
